One highlight for QueerSpace is the Community
Quiz we are organizing for Monday 28th July in the John Hewitt Bar on
Donegall Street. And
QueerSpace is proud to bring you the Pride Film Festival - with 3 very
different films covering comedy and horror, all with a queer twist in
the tale!

Sunday, 27th July, 1p.m., Shaw's Bridge,
Lagan Valley Regional Park
Out-n-About's next walk, to take place
during Belfast Pride, will be held in Lagan Valley Regional Park. The
walk starts at 1 p.m. on Sunday 27th July.
This will not be a difficult walk.
However, the path may be mucky in
places so it is still recommended that you wear decent walking boots.
You should also bring a lunch with you.
If you'd like more details, contact Neil at
out_n_about_ni@yahoo.co.uk.
Neil, the organiser of Out N About,
is currently looking for someone willing to help out with the planning,
recce-ing and leadership of new walking events. It would probably
involve an informal planning meeting once every few months, obviously in
addition to assistance at the walks themselves. Interested? Contact Neil at
out_n_about_ni@yahoo.co.uk.

Sunday 27th July, Catalyst Arts,
North Street Arcade, 8pm
Starring: James Layton and Lee Williams.
Narration by Boy George. Directed by: Will Gould
In a small village there were once a couple of
young beasts that fell in love with one another. However, as in all
macabre love stories there is a mob that has been blinded by the
emotional and moral confusion that has been created by an evil force.
The question is whether the beasts will be able to live their life and
love each other, or if they will be murdered in the end.

Tuesday 29th July, Catalyst Arts,
North Street Arcade, 8.30pm for 9.00pm
Starring: Keri Jo Chapman, Barbara Lasater
Directed by: Kelli Herd
Azalea Springs is a white Texan paradise only a short
limo-ride from Peyton Place and Stepford. Everyone is rich, the men are
rugged and the women have big hair. Yet scrape a perfectly manicured
fingernail over the veneer and underneath lies a seething hot-bed of
lesbianism and homosexuality. Then at a charity do, a rumour spreads that
there's something in the water that turns people queer.

Wednesday 30th July,
Catalyst Arts, North Street Arcade, 8pm
Starring: Gotz George, Christian Redl, Jeanette Hain, Felix
Eitner, Angelika Bartsch
Directed by: Hermine Huntgeburth
It’s an odd rule: "No exchanging of bodily fluids within the team,"
but then it’s an odd team. Professional con artists Zorbel and his
daughter Lizzie have a vacancy for an able pick pocket. Enter the very
amiable Rudolf: it’s a shame that he’s a crap thief, it’s a shame that
he’s so handsome, but then you can’t have everything or can you?
German, with English subtitles.
